Tom Walters, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Tom earned his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Montana State University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Chapman University. After graduating from physical therapy school, Tom completed a year-long residency series in orthopaedic physical therapy.

Tom is a board certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a certified Neurac suspension-exercise therapist by the Norwegian-based company Redcord. 

Tom has experience in a number of clinical settings including orthopaedic private practice, long-term care, traveling therapy and sports medicine as a physical therapist in Cirque du Soleil’s Performance Medicine department.

Besides his clinical practice, Tom has served as an adjunct instructor in the Kinesiology Department at Westmont College, where he taught human biomechanics and motor behavior. He has also served as an Editorial Advisory Group Member for the American Physical Therapy Association's Perspectives magazine and as a contributing author at PutMeBackTogether.com.
