Here's a quick question-- I am a RN with a Bachelors, been working in home health for the last 3 years and I am considering leaving the profession to pursue something outside of nursing. Can anyone give me an overview of a couple of things--

First, where do I begin? What would be your recommendation as to how to choose a program? Is there any type of online curriculum for SPL? And also what is an average salary? I have to be honest, I am also considering Occupational therapy, but again just feel like I'm getting lost in the shuffle, thought I may reach out here... has anyone or is anyone out there going through what I'm going through? Thanks!

I too have considered to change career and am currently looking into SLP. I've been considering changing careers into either SLP or OT. I like the fact that both fields can be creative. Both works one-on-one and have tangible results. Can anybody share the pro's and con's between working as a SLP vs OT?

Please give us insights like what are the prerequisites to become an SLP/OT. How's the job market for both? Which job pays more? and which allows you more flexibility and growth?
